    Stainless Steel Bumpers

By the end of 2006, the manufacturer will have a range of around 30 different bumper kits available.

From time of order to delivery to your door can be as little as 12 days (please allow 2 week for stock items to Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.)
We can ship to anywhere worldwide. We do also offer sea freight for bulk orders- please send email for details.

Stainless steel is the perfect material to produce bumpers from. For a number of reasons.

  1. Stainless steel (grade 304/ 1,4301/7)  NEVER rusts or corrodes. Even if submerged in salt water for many years- it would come out needing merely a repolish- but would be in exactly the same form as when submerged.
Stainless steel is a workable material, for instance if you dent a chrome plated bumper- its very difficult and costly to repair.
It needs stripping of its old chrome, beating back to shape before rechroming.
Compare this to a stainless steel bumper, if it sustains damage- it is an easy job for an experienced panel beater to beat the dent out and repolish using a jewelers rouge or decent quality metal polish and an orbital polisher.
  • The tensile strength of stainless steel is tougher than that of chrome plated mild steel, which means they can withstand  damage marginally better.

All our bumpers are hand finished, in the process of manafacture we use various production techniques- such as pressing, rolling and laser cutting. We use jigs for accuracy of both shape and mountings- and once each items is checked against the original it is then polished and finished by hand.
